| 06 November 2008 Jonas Hunter says... Ah, how time passes. Well, despite the fact I haven't posted here in quite a while, for those few that wander around this site I am sure you have noticed several changes. Of course there is the new format, which went live in August. As far as the Races info is going, I am almost done with the player races, with only Halflings and Kerrans left to do. I have also been doing quite a bit with zones, although not much has shown up here yet. Soon you will see quite a bit of that information coming down here, with quite a bit of lore attached to it. On a side note, it is now looking like the Shadow Odyssey is going to be the new supported expansion for EQ2Emu, and if that becomes the case (Barring encryption issues) then I am going to require that expansion as well. It is going to open up a slew of new models and zones for me to play with and for all of you to enjoy! 19 August 2008 Jonas Hunter says... New Format!! 15 August 2008 Jonas Hunter says... So another month passes.Well, for those who come here regularly, you have likely noticed many changes over the last month. From the front page changes, to the addition of several race descriptions (I'm looking at you High Elves and Half Elves) and the completion of the Live client 5016L creature model list. Next on my to do list is to complete the racial descriptions and I have already begun with the Wieldabl eItems masterlist for the model site. 01 July 2008 Jonas Hunter says... I know, i know! Its been a while since I posted anything here. Bad form, I know. Don't think it is because I haven't been doing anything, quite the contrary actually. I have been doing quite a bit of work in the Creature Models section, adding many more pictures and links, and doing a little reorganization. I also added the Creature Master list for all of you to actually see where this info comes from. Currently, I am not happy with the Master Lists formatting, and it will probably get its own page in the near future (it slows down the main page too much). Oh, and like my last post- On a side note, I am currently working with Live client 4938L. This client not only includes everything going on in the current live events (Tempest Storms) but several things from The Shadow Odyssey (EQ2 exp05) as well. 14 February 2008 Jonas Hunter says... Well, I don't know who has been paying attention, but I have been putting in quite a bit of work in the Creature Models section, with several new pages going live this past week. In order to better quell some concern over at EQ2Emulator.net I wanted to let everyone know that the model list here will make there way over to the official wiki. This site was started before the offical wiki was made, and as such I began my catalog efforts here. Once a section has been completed here (ie- Creatures) I am intent on putting a PDF file of all that content on the offical wiki for everyone to use. In addition to that, I will be uploading my Master Lists of the different models to that site for everyone's use. Fret not! I am not out to boggart my model knowledge, it will all be available in due time. On a side note, I am currently working with RoK client 4680T, so all the new gods and epic weapon models are going to be included in my efforts! 04 February 2008 Jonas Hunter says... My my my, how time passes when you are having fun, or stuff. I want you all to know I am still working hard and in the next few days you should see more things popping online, like some more class spell lists, some more details about the world itself (maybe even a sneak peak at what the overworld will consist of!), and some interesting facts about the game's structure in its basest of forms. All I can say is, don't go anywhere boys and girls! It's just starting to get good! 20 December 2007 Jonas Hunter says... Well, a month has passed, and great strides are being made in the progress of the Emulator! Lethal Encounter hopes to have it much more functional towards the end of January at which point some real progress can be made. As far as this site goes, I have been working dilligently updating things. You will notice several more categories of Creature Models have become available for browsing, as well as many more of the Races of Sytheria can now have their stats looked over. Check back periodically, because things are changing daily! 20 November 2007 Jonas Hunter says... Well, RoK has been released on EQ2Live, and with that the promised update to EQ2Emu with Alpha version 0.4. In this version, several different clients are going to be supported, however I have decided that should Sytherian offically launch before the next expansion in a year (here's hoping ;op ) that I am going to require either client 4412 (the RoK box client) or 4523L in which all of the RoK features are implimented. The reason for this is, although I am not planning on using the zones from RoK, barring a major future release (always plan for the future) I am planning on using the new models available in these clients. Additionally, since I have been doing alot of work in the cataloging of the EQ2 models I have decided to add a more general portion of this website to encompass my work in this area until the EQ2Emu wiki is brought up. 06 November 2007 Jonas Hunter says... Since the current version of EQ2Emulator is just an Alpha level release, I have decided my best effort would be put into creating and updating this site with as much information on the upcoming server as I can. At this time only I am able to add data to the site, largely because I am using it as a repository of my own in regards as to what I want to set up on the server. Once the Rise of Kunark expansion comes out and EQ2Emulator moves into Beta and further, I hope you will see much more action on this site. *crosses fingers* |
